Found after father died.

In the letter, the man who is referred to as “Eddie” is his brother in the air force. Stan was in the navy.

Dear Mam Dad & all

Here I am once again writing you a few lines, this time in answer to some mail I had today, I had Two air mail from you, what is the matter with Our Mavis latest no mail from Her.

I am very Pleased to hear that you Dad and all are still as fit as Ever, myself O.K.. your letters were dated 23/ [unclear], and 13/11/44 not Bad, Glad you got my Mail at Home alright, Oh I still haven't had any Mail from Our Eddie, glad to hear you are getting some I suppose he is still somewhere in Italy, we are well away from their now, we have been in Greece for some time you have had a lot of news about some of the places we have been, The People are alright Here, Two of my mates and myself went to an House ashore yesterday and we had a very good time, Egg and Chips for supper, as you can tell how pleased I was, also had jelly a few days before, just like home, only you and Dad weren't their, we have been having a lot of Eggs on Board the Ship lately, good or what we get Bread Every day....
