This is a Christmas greeting send on the 4th December 1944. The letter was with a number of documents my grandfather kept in a small box after the war.
It reads: “Well Eric, Here’s wishing you a very Happy Christmas and hope before next you will be home. With best love from your ever loving mother and all at home.”
There is a photo of my grandfather with a girl who was part of the family my grandfather befriended in Brussels.
