Horace Jenkins was my Grandad. After the passing of my mother Beryl McKane (their daughter) we came across a lot of keep sakes and family history she had kept. So after hearing your appeal thought we would help with the letter from grandad in wishing grana (Ethel Jenkins) a happy birthday saying let’s hope next year we can spend it together but knows their thoughts will be as one.
This is a card that’s been embroidered so not sure if he made it himself. As her birthday was 22 December he also took the time to wish her a Happy Christmas as well. It really is a lovely little card.
