HMS Hood
My Uncle, George Keal, was in the Royal Navy, serving on HMS Hood as a leading stoker.
He corresponded during WW2 with his sisters and brothers. Along with the letters, some of the envelopes are complete with the official stamp HMS Hood.
Unfortunately he died on HMS Hood in Denmark Strait when it was attacked by the Bismarck in 1941.
I discovered letters from George Keal sent to my Mother, Mabel Keal after she passed away.
