This letter of gratitude was sent to my father who was on escorts in the north Atlantic and used to make ships in bottles and raffle them ashore for aid to Russia.
The letter is from Clementine Churchill, wife of Winston Churchill. She was Chairman of the Red Cross Aid to Russia Fund.
