This is a letter sent from a prisoner of war camp to my Grandmother Nancy by her brother Bill. The letter is for congratulations on the birth of my mother Catherine.

My dear Sister Nancy, It is not often I write to you but this is an occasion when I must congratulate you both on the happy event. I trust you and baby are quit well, also Pat & Maureen. I would have written before if the cards had been coming through. I have not written to anybody for over two weeks. I must come to a close. Sending fondest love and kisses to all. Sending a big kiss to Maureen & Catherine x From ever loving Bill
