Sgt George Dixon to his mother Maud

The drawing was from my Father, George Dixon, to his Mother during WW2.

We have not found the letter but this is a light hearted drawing Dad sent obviously enclosed in a letter to make her smile.

My Father was a Sergeant in the Eight Army – a Desert Rat.

He also had a brother in the RAF and two brothers in the Navy so it was a difficult time for all the family.
