My Mother Edna Scott passed these letters to me before she passed away in 2010.
I (Maureen Dean) was aware of the letters from the war. They were openly discussed. There are several letters/postcards enclosed from my father George Scott. My mother had kept them all.
They were sent from when he was serving in North Africa and Italy – where he was active in the war front. His reference number is 955483 MM, from the Royal Artillery.
